And the Land Shall Be Made Good Again: a poem

In the beginning
There was the land,
And the land was good
And the people were happy.

Soon upon the land
Came the moneychangers
In the guise of builders
Of the community.

And the moneychangers said
Behold, the covenants, conditions and restrictions
Were sacred and holy works,
And the people shall flourish and prosper.

Those broad societal and plotical concerns caused me to start this new blog for my commentaries on the State of the New America.

  1. Dear George:

One day; YES, we shall overcome and our land will be our land again. Your poetry is excellent as you are as you give hope to so many HOAs that have created GULAGS in the various developments.

Brotherly Love and God bless you always. Keep up the good work.

  3. Good Afternoon George,

I was so elated to read your poetry, “And the Land Shall Be Made Good Again”; speaking with grace and humor used to explain how the ruling powers destroyed Homeowners associations, your Genesis is tremendous. As always, you leave your valuable footprints.
    Sincerely,
